A Brawler To Watch Over Me (as I tube down a Skyway exit ramp) on Friday, February 26th, 2010

Workers have begun dumping snow on the Seneca Street exit ramp of The Skyway. A second layer of clean snow will be added after the base is set. As the snow is dumped and spread, more workers are adding snow fencing on the outer side of the ramp. From there, hay bales are added to protect tubers from flying off the hill. Colden Valley Tubing will be dropping off their slick-bottom sledding tubes later in the day, upon which time we're heading up to try out the ride - somebody has to do it, right?

When you arrive to the Seneca Loop tomorrow, you will notice another addition to the Pearl Street Grill and Brewery's facade (overlooking the tubing hill). Since tomorrow is the grand opening of Brawler's Back Alley Deli, it is only befitting that Earl Ketry (not to be outdone by anyone or anything) has unveiled the establishment's latest character in the form of a street fighter perched above the side entrance on Seneca Street.
