Captain Jack’s is Back on Tuesday, February 16th, 2010

First we waited and waited.  Then they were here, and before we knew it, there was a mysterious "Gone Fishing" sign hung on the door, and Captain Jack's was closed.  "A weekend excursion?" we wondered.  Then, weeks turned into months.

Now, the Elmwood Avenue fish and chips eatery has reopened.  Owner Pete Cavaretta is glad to be be back in business following some last-minute inspections from the fire Marshall that kept the business in a suspended state from November until now, after first being permitted to open last summer.

No doubt fans of Captain Jack's will be happy to be able to patronize the popular establishment again, and Cavaretta is glad to be reopened in time for Lent.  Let's all go there this week and see if we can't help Cavaretta make up for lost time.
