A man wanted for questioning in the mass shootings at the City Grill earlier this month has turned himself in to authorities at WIVB-TV studios in Buffalo.

Riccardo McCray surrendered to authorities at Channel 4 studios after arriving with community activist Darnell Jackson around 2 p.m.

Station officials said they immediately contacted Erie County District Attorney Frank Sedita and Buffalo Police.

McCray has a previous criminal record in Buffalo. In May 2009, he was arrested with a loaded rifle in his car.

In that incident, Ferry-Fillmore District police, responding to a call of shots fired at Genesee Street and Koons Avenue, arrested McCray with a loaded Bushmaster rifle in the front seat of his car.

In April of this year, McCray was arrested along with five other people and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon.
