With the long list of injuries that the Buffalo Bills endured this summer, it’s nice to finally get some good news. Wide receiver James Hardy returned to practice yesterday for the Bills, and hopes to play in Saturday’s preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

“It went very well,” said Hardy. “I just started to go out there and get a little run in and see if there was any pain. For the most part I felt that the pain that is there I’ll be able to deal with it. Hopefully I’ll be out there on Saturday. We’ll see how it goes (Thursday).”

The former second round pick has some work ahead of him, as the second receiver position battle has heated up with the impressive camp and preseason by Chad Jackson, David Nelson and Naaman Roosevelt.

I hope Hardy can shake this injury bug for good and finally hit the field for the Bills this season. For a team like the Bills that struggles to put points up on the board, having a receiver on your side that totaled 191 receptions and 36 touchdowns in a three-year college career at Indiana will definitely give your offense a boost.
