HOPE Center looking for donations for Saint Patrick’s Day on Monday, March 1st, 2010

The HOPE Center a St. Patrick’s Day dinner at the Urban Diner for their customers (residents of Broadway-Fillmore).

All customers wearing green will receive a free raffle ticket for a basket of green. Those not wearing will have the option of shamrock painted on their face.

They are looking …for donations of green items for the baskets (green shirts, towels, socks, cups, necklace, etc.).

Anyone wishing to drop off donations, the Hope Center is open from 9-4 pm Monday-Friday.

HOPE Center’s The Urban Diner is run entirely by workers in the Safety Net Achievement Program, a program designed to provide welfare recipients with work experience. The Urban Diner is a restaurant-style soup kitchen that serves up dignity, respect and opportunity!
