The Buffalo Niagara region topped the Northeast with a nearly five-percent median home price gain for the third quarter. The four-point-eight-percent increase makes Buffalo one of 30 metro areas out of 153 total to see a gain, while 123, including the New York cities of Albany, Binghamton, Rochester and Syracuse, saw declines. The median price for a home in Buffalo has increased to 119-thousand-700 dollars.
