Hosted by Linda O’Connor:
Don’t Double Buckle Kids!
Learn about this common unsafe practice involving kids and cars. Double buckling simply means to use one seat belt to buckle in two children. People do this in order to squeeze more passengers into a car than they have seatbelts to accommodate. And IT IS NOT OKAY! For this show, we will be talking to Ted Gura, Assistant Chief of Police, Orchard Park; Frank Muggia, Muggia & Associates Attorneys At Law, as well as a spokesperson from the National Transportation Safety Board.
