Say No to State Park Closures on Thursday, March 4th, 2010

Upset about Governor Paterson's announcement that would close a number of state parks as part of his plan to close the current budget deficit?

So are Buffalo Niagara RiverKeeper and Senator Stachowski.  If these closings were to occur, this would be the first time in New York State's history that a governor has closed state parks.

Stachowski feels that there are better ways to save the state money without stripping residents of their recreational facilities.

Please join Stachowski and RiverKeeper for a rally to Save Our Parks at Woodlawn Beach State Park this Saturday, March 6th, at 11AM.  Show Governor Paterson that we say "no" when it comes to closing our State Parks.

Please contact Senator Stachowski's office at 854.3915, 826.3344 and ask for Justin or Michele, with any questions, or simply to voice your support!
