Spolka Clothes…then and now on Saturday, July 24th, 2010

The first picture is from 1923.

Spolka’s location on Broadway was open until 2001 and was open for almost 111 years…it had a short run as City Fashion which closed about fives years ago.

Spolka also had stores in Black Rock and Hamtramck, Michigan.

Forgotten Buffalo has awesome pics as to what the store looked like inside.  (click here)

I kick myself…I had a nice Spolka jacket that I got rid of in the 90s…so it goes.
