In 1971, Pontiac introduced the Ventura II, its version of the compact Chevy Nova. The biggest differences were the taillights and grille (and the price: $2,376 for the Nova vs $2,458 for the Ventura II). In 1973, when General Motors restyled their compacts, Buick and Oldsmobile joined the bandwagon with the Apollo and the Omega. [...]
