Parents and staff at Rogers Elementary School in Jamestown learned Thursday that the district was closing their school. The decision will bring the number of elementary schools in Jamestown to five, and reportedly save a million dollars.
A woman, 68, is being questioned for her part in a hit and run accident in south Buffalo Thursday evening that sent a woman, 59, to the hospital with multiple injuries. As YNN’s Kate McGowan reports, witnesses said the driver fled after hitting the victim.
