Leaders of a group that represents hundreds of liquor stores will meet Tuesday with Buffalo lawmakers as part of a campaign to block a state plan that would allow supermarkets and grocery stores to sell wine.

A missing 69-year-old man who lives in a group home for adults on Richmond Avenue was being
sought by Buffalo police late Monday, and police were asking for help from the public in locating him.

LOCKPORT — The parents of a three-month old girl were charged with drug possession and
endangering the welfare of a child after a traffic stop early Sunday turned up crack cocaine
in the mother’s vehicle and heroin in her home, city police said.
